Has anyone else had significant issues regarding this doctor's office (primary care family physicians)? For instance, your phone calls/emails are not returned? You have to wait a long time to get an appointment, even though you are truly ill? Doctor and/or physician assistant minimizing symptoms and not requesting tests that would accurately diagnose a serious medical issue? Misdiagnosis, wrong diagnosis or simply no answer at all? The level of care has gone downhill and I am worried that someone might get seriously injured due to the lack of attention and care they show for their patients.

My review is for the business end of this practice. Doctors are meh. But the lack of patient care is appalling. Let me sum it up in one word: incompetent. This is a disorganized group. No one ever gets back to you about billing issues, and my insurance company was as frustrated as I was by the lack of follow - up on Advocate's behalf. Advocate moved into a fancy new building, and many patients, myself included, have expressed feeling like we're in some sort of widget factory. There is not enough time to spend with your doctors, and the process of scheduling, billing, and getting lab work done is clunky to say the least. My kids and I are looking for a new doctor. I strongly suggest you steer clear of this awful place.

I do recommend that Advocate's location for anyone who needs the imaging tests. I had my GP's order to do the routine check-up (all good :), and the test has been done in a good manner and the result was given in time. The dark side of that experience is that we had the problem with insurance claim, but the issue was solved with Advocate Medical Group in my favor. I really appreciate their approach and professionalism.

Never use their service again. Got 3 hidden bills after just one visit. Cost me 500$ exta
