After taking my dog to another emergency vet and waiting over 90 minutes with nothing being done while my dog was bleeding non stop from his rectum, this place I credit for saving his life. Everyone I came in contact with acted like they truly cared for my pet. They took him right back and started giving him fluids within 15 minutes. The doctor was very professional and caring, answered all my questions. I felt more than comfortable leaving my beloved pet in their care overnight. Absolutely recommend and this is the only place I will use in case of another emergency.

Our boxer was treated on an emergency basis for blockage in her gastrointestinal track. Dr Knight and staff took such amazing care of our little girl. They gave us an estimate before we left her, and our actual cost was below the low end. They definitely care more about your pet and family that the money as what they charge is extremely reasonable The deserve 100 stars for the treatment we received last night!

A little old looking on the ER side as far as decor, but FANTASTIC service. Took the time to talk to our pet, not just us. I've been to places that just treated animals like a business, but these folks really seem to get it.

If I could give them less than one star I would. I made the mistake of taking my cat to her primary care (Banfield) after she didn’t seem well after her spay surgery since The Humane Society closes after 5pm (they’re great). She had came home and collapsed on the floor and I noticed her gums were white and her paws were cold. I rushed to Banfield. Banfield took my cat in who was on a wellness plan, but the ER visit was about $85. I can swallow that because I love my cat. They told me she was hypothermic and may be internally bleeding and ushered to me Affiliated. This was the worst mistake ever, but I was in tears and just wanted someone to help my baby. They told me they were great people. I get there and they take my cat from me and send me to wait. They come in and start pushing care credit applications on me. Not only am I in tears and worried about my cat, I am worried financially, but I figured I could breathe a bit before they tried to suck money from me. I told her I did not want to apply for a CC with a 26.99% interest rate and she agreed it was a bit much. They came in and briefly told me they would be running some tests and what may be happening with her. About 5 minutes later a short girl with blonde hair came in and told me to circle whether or not to give my cat CPR for another $100. I’m done at this point, but I’m here for my cat and I just wanted to take her home and hug her. The doctor comes about 15 minutes later and says she will need to stay overnight for observation and possible blood transfusion. In follows the short blonde girl with a paper. ($531-1266) and told me to give her my number. I looked at her and said I’m not bidding on my cats life. I said I just want her better and she told me that $531 would not do much just minimal care and observation. They ushered us again to the door and said you have to pay your deposit and then you can see your cat before you go. AGAIN, money! She also tried to push the care credit once again. They don’t care about these animals, they see $$ signs. We paid the bill of $531 and I kissed her and went home since I had to call out of work at 6am because they close at 8am and if you are late to pickup, they charge you every 30 minutes. About 11pm the doctor calls me back and said they want to start the transfusion. Delirious, attempting to sleep a bit I told her to go ahead and give her the blood she needs. Before I could even say another word, she said I’ll need your payment over the phone right now. So I asked her to use the card on file which she said they do not keep card numbers. I then gave her the number and quickly got off the phone because I was losing it. Money or your animal suffers. I understand they need their payment but with every action, it’s like they were nickeling and diming me. I came back at 7am for pick up and she seemed a little better, but the doctor insisted I leave her catheter in her arm and come back for more testing or to banfield for continuous monitoring all day. I asked her to take it out so she didn’t have to be uncomfortable at home, but she said it was her “clinical advice” in between explaining things, she told me she didn’t charge me for some things which wasn’t why I was there! I wanted to know WHAT WAS HAPPENING to my cat! Stop talking about money. CAT. My cat please. So she told me to come back later which I attempted. I upset my cat who was tired of being poked and prodded and put her back in the carry case in the cold and took her back and guess what? Closed. They failed to tell me to come back at 6pm! Because she was too busy talking about money and nonsense. The funny part is before we left they had me sign papers and he said that’ll be $6 and I laughed at him and said now what? His words “I don’t know” so I had to look through the paperwork just to see what it was for. PATHETIC. Needless to say I went back to the humane society and they took care of her free of charge and took her catheter out so she could be comfortable. STAY AWAY FROM AFFILIATED!

They took very good care of my cat on a Sunday when my vet was out of town. Everyone was kind and wanted to help. Very, very expensive. It cost us 680.00 to find out nothing was wrong with my cat.
