Twice I have been here and both times I was taken care of with excellent customer service. First time - I came in with my puppy who had a severe bloated stomach. Rushed him in and was explained every detail of everything they did before they did it. Wait was a little long but we had people in before us and had a few life threatening cases come in after us that got jumped to the front(They asked is if it was OK to let these animals be put before ours. We obviously said yes). Our puppy ended up being OK and our bill was not crazy expensive like other comments are saying. Second time - We brought our cat in that was very limp but still breathing. He was brought back right away. We were then told all our options along with price scenarios. Unfortunately, we had to put him down. The staff was very caring in every step of this process. One of the nurses even molded his paw print in clay before we left. My bill was even cheaper than the price they had told me. I am very thankful to everyone here. I would 100% recommend this to anyone with a pet emergence.

Beyond satisfied! Dog was extremely sick so took him here in the middle of the night. He had to be admitted into hospital for 2 days from something he ate. Every time I called to check up on him, the vet would talk to me and explain in great detail of what was happening and what we should expect. The entire staff was friendly and very caring of my fur child. Highly recommend taking your animals here!

I've had to take my dogs here several times over the years; most recently for my girl who had her first seizure early in the morning. We were promptly greeted and checked in. The staff was kind and caring. Clear instructions were given on what to do if my girl had another seizure, including medication we were given. I felt more in control until I could get her to our regular vet for further treatment. They are a bit expensive, but that is a given considering they are there 24/7 for emergencies. After reading some reviews I would like to point out that: 1) You never know what other animals they have in back and what their condition is. You may think your pet is the most important at that moment, but that may not be the case. 2) The staff here do a job that most of us couldn't. They deal with heartbreaking situations every day; plus difficult, rude, emotional, and impatient customers. 3) They are an emergency vet. They want to make sure your pet doesn't die and is treated for pain until you can see your regular vet for further treatments (like in my case, to find the cause of the seizures).

I brought my dog here because I live in norther Michigan and came down for emergency visit with family. My dog had been kicked by my horse while at work and my vet wasn't open. Dr Rocket was awesome with my dog and took her time checking him over and listening to me and my concerns. She took x-rays and showed me everything and was very thorough in the exam. I felt price for visit, 3 x-rays and pain/anti-inflammatory price was reasonable at $340. Ive been else where and paid $140 just for visit. Very happy with my experience.

Have had to go here 4 times in the past year. 3 times when my roommate had to make the difficult decision to euthanize 3 different older rescue babies. I try to stay away from anything that spells emergency. With an unknown sudden decline (after recent vet visit) my male 12 year old dog needed to be looked at (and my vet was on his way out of town)... -1 The receptionist I had needs lessons or guidance in client service. I know receptionist are front line but her attitude was not calming or supportive. The tone of her voice and physical posture reminded me of male animals posturing. 4 The exterior and interior are clean in appearance and well ventilated. Including the bathrooms, and visible area behind reception desk to the first back hall. 4 The tech was considerate, caring and understanding when she came back with the estimated cost of service sheet, she was understand of my budget and concerns. My concern on the cost was relayed to the DVM and the plan of action met with my approval. 4 The DVM did a wonderful exam, explored all the notes that I had with regards to symptoms, signs physical and behavioral that my for legged fur baby displayed. In my visits this location and the teams on duty during my four visits did the job they were suppose to do. The exception of my last visit was the receptionist who ranked low.
