Turning a bad situation, into a good one. Complete service 100A upgrade, with two sub-panel boxes inside combined to one. Needless to say, Sunday .. was here within 30min to quote out the service after our issues from a 1947 pre-fab wire breakdown .. was onsite this morning at 8:30, and full crew working the day .. and should get inspection passed and service back on within a few more hours. 

The negative sub-5 stars about phone call tag - NOT quality of service. 

Quality of service, is what matters in the end and I cannot say enough good things about what I've seen so far.

I referred a client to use Affordable Electric (because I had them replace an electrical panel several years ago) and passed their info along to many clients who were selling their houses and needed an electrician. It took almost a week for them to come give the quote and when they came out, they told my client they could not give a written estimate & they would get back to him. 3 days later, I called the office to obtain a quote, they said they'd call me back. This morning, I received a call from Joe who couldn't remember what the job was and was asking to come back to the house to look at the service again. I told him we could not wait any longer and that the work needed to be done. He was very rude and short with me. I then told him that I would not be referring any more business to Affordable Electric in the future. His response was "that's fine- we're too busy anyways." Too busy for a client who has referred thousands of dollars of work to them in the past? I will never recommend this company again.

I came home to a serious electrical problem around 7:30pm. I had no power to my furnace, refrigerator and other major appliances, and we were expecting snow!! I had just recently moved into my house and knew very little about the area. I found Affordable Electric and called them up. They were extremely nice and caring. They came out on an emergency call and fixed my problem. Being right before Christmas, I was worried that the emergency call would cost me upwards of $300. Not even close. They were extremely fair and reasonably priced. I would recommend them to EVERYONE!

I used affordable electric once before and they were great. Well this time I called and wanted a outlet and new box installed for a light in bathroom I was told I would have a tech call me and set up an appointment. No one called me after 2 days so I called again and was told a tech would call me back. Again no one called me back.

We called Affordable Electric after reading reviews on the computer.   They responded quickly and Kate came and took care of our lighting problems promptly.    She was efficient, friendly and very knowledgeable.   They truly were very "affordable " and we will call them again when future problems arise.
