Definitely the best value in town. The suites are huge and the property is well kept and safe. I hear the manager is new, and she is great. No one wants to be 500 miles from home, but if you are, I highly recommend this place.

My husband and I call this place our second home. The service and southern hospitality are exceptional and the rooms are always very clean and properly equipped.  We visit here several times a year and have decided to make Rocky Mount our retirement location - largely as a result of the representation of the city by Affordable Suites' General Manager, Mr. Terry Stoneman, who I found out today has passed away.  He made Affordable Suites special by setting a tone of excellence. He lived on the premises, and often woke up at midnight with a smile to hand us our room key when we came into town after hours. He made us feel like family and made so many exceptions for us just to ensure we had a nice experience there.  Can't imagine how Affordable Suites will be without him.  This is a wonderful place to stay. You'll feel like you're at home.

I would like to express my deepest sympathy for the lost of one of the last gentleman on earth Mr. Terry.  He made my stay at the suites as comfortable as he could. It was like home. He kept it clean and safe. He will be missed. I am writing this review in his honor. A great man and a beautiful soul. May GOD protect keep him in his arms. He will truly be missed. GOD Bless his family. Stay in Peace

This has been my husband's home away from home while he works out of town. The rooms are pleasant and the area of the hotel is very low key.
