After The Fox has specialized in English and Irish style Pub food since 1984 they offer some of the best Fresh Fish variety in the area and Rival anywhere with there Friday Night Fish Fry. The Restaurant sits right off the Fox River with piers for your boat and docks to relax on. We specialize in home down atmosphere with authentic like mom used to make it home made food.
Come in some time say hello to our waitstaff and see what the fuss is all about! Please note our kitchen is closed from 3PM to 5PM Monday thru Friday.

I walked in after a few hours exploring the area - as we are considering investing in a biz and moving to the area. I have walked into a number of bars/restaurants across the US  (& globally) and this place is lucky to get 1 star on first impression. And yes the bartender waited for me to say hello and not looking happy that I was here. Wow!!!   All I can write after this experience is that I would never walk back in based on today. If they have good food as other locals write reviews on, then they need to improve the "meet & greet".  

Sure I can find other places here local that will welcome our business, so good luck. 

Oh!!!  Not dog friendly, so don't ask. They (bartender and regs at bar) will make fun of you for even thinking this is possible. Time for me to bring my service dog and say hello to see what they will do.   

Plus not ADA ACCESSIBLE.  Not even close.

Excellent food! Home cooked, generous portions, great price! Friendly environment! Right on the Fox river...you can sit out on the patio, and be right in the river! Very peaceful, and quiet! Love it!

Food is good, Friday Fish fry recommended! The host needs to be a little more friendly to customers.

Took the hubby and two boys to have lunch last week on my lunch hour.  The Reuben soup was phenomenal.  Food took 54 minutes to get to us.  Boys got burgers, hubby got fish sandwich, i got sirloin tips.  Needless to say, my lunch was over and I couldnt stay to eat. 54 minutes from order to on table is too long.  Everyone at bar was getting food quick even though they came in after us. Food wasnt very good either.  Sorry Fox.  =(

Great local bar and dinning room right on the Fox River. Tasty homemade food. Outdoor seating over looking the river. Outdoor smoking area.
