I stopped by today for an açaí bowl. It was very tasty! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They easily accommodated a couple additions to my bowl. Excellent experience overall!Food: 5/5
Definitely will be coming back. That açaí was some of the best I have had. The rice bowl with tofu was very fresh and flavorful. Good service and relaxing atmosphere as well. Lots of variety on the menu. Vegetarian options: All vegan, lots of variety.
This is my first visit to Higher Taste through my daughter's guidance. It was a rainy Thursday around lunch hour. The place was empty and there was only one lady behind the counter smiling at us. She gave us a warm greeting and showed us the menu on the counter, then patiently wait for us browsing before ordering. I ordered the jalapeno burger and a side of sweet potato fries. I considered the portion for the fries quite generous. They were slightly more salty to my taste but still great. The burger patty has a slight smokey taste. I have been a vegetarian for decades and I am not going to compare it with a real burger. I am willing to say I will take this any day over a Beyond burger patty. My lunch mate had a Thai Temple Bowl. I took a bit of the Thai peanut dressing for tasting and I say it has a good balance between the sweetness and nutty taste. Prices are quite reasonable given the recent bout of inflation and higher prices. Parking is paid street parking so it is a good opportunity to dispose of some of your quarters, and add to your daily step counts. As for recycling, I do not see separate bins, but they are using paper plates and bowls. I was studying and living in Long Beach decades ago. It is a delight to find this place as a tourist now. I definitely would recommend this place to my friends - vegetarians or not.
the service was a little slow we ordered for takeout but ended up dining in, but the food was VERY well-priced IMO, and really tasty, from the bowls to the burgers. and the person ringing us up gave great suggestions.Food: 5/5
This spot has such a nice ambience and I was greeted so warmly when I came in. I come in regularly for their cookies. I've never had better vegan cookies in my life.Food: 5/5
I had the most amazing gluten free ahimsa burger at higher taste!!! Would definitely recommend to anyone! I'm so excited to try their other items, also the cookies are A+Food: 5/5
Yummy fries. Delicious and filling burger. Just what I was looking for. Great meal for middle of the day or dinner.Food: 5/5
Best vegan burger and best vegan shakes in town. I finished my shake before I could get a pic. I love this spot.Food: 5/5
What an exceptional place! Wonderfully delicious vegan food that left this recovering carnivore happy and full. I had the Chick'n sandwich and it did not disappoint. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and hearty.
Bright and sunny. I used their community table for my working lunch. Quiet, friendly, and seriously, stunningly delicious food. I had the Hemp kale bowl with black beans. Amazingly smooth blend, with 2 servings of a fantastic sause. Macrame artist was crafting while I was there. Im returning! Wheelchair accessibility: Kids are welcome and encouraged to be themselves
