Ahlul Bait Center’s community consists of more than 150 families most of which are under the age of 40. They are mostly new Iraqi immigrant of the early 1990s. In addition to the Iraqis, there are several other Arab nationalities such as Lebanese, Moroccans, Algerians, Palestinians, and a large number of students from Saudi Arabia (more than 20 families) who came to study in the Chicago area. More than 70% of the youth are under the age of 12.
