It's a nice place to have dinner, they just need to do something about the bugs out side. Besides that it's a nice place. I'd also tell people to plan ahead, because you're going to have at least an hour or more wait to get a table, but it's worth the wait for us.

My daughter and son in law live in Connersville and took my wife and I here for dinner. The food was great, the service good and the view from the deck was fantastic. It's a bit pricey for what it is but good just the same.

Ainsley's is great because of the location, view, variety and types of food offered and the atmosphere. Adult seating in the bar, some seating outside the bar, a second room with a bar and three outdoor decks with two levels. The Captain's steak sandwich has been a reliable favorite, one time I had the best cheeseburger in my life here...I was drunk. The shrimp bianca is another favorite...I usually get the appetizer and then get a salad. Pizza was better the next day, cold. Steaks have been consistently been cooked to order. They have a special Acapulco nachos which is perfect over a couple of beers. I'd give it a 5 just because it is the only gig on the lake and is pretty good all around. Atmosphere , quality and variety of food. A few of the servers are not very attentive. I think it is more a training or college age thing. Some are terrific but you can't choose your server. There is also not a very good place to wait if it is raining or hot. The foyer is small and the restrooms are super busy. You can stand outside with the smokers.
