The food here is amazing! The flavors are so unique and savory. I ordered the Chicken Biryani, with a mango Lassi drink. I loved it. This is my first time visiting this restaurant, I ordered what was recommended by the nice man working at the front counter. Very nice people, the service was great. My new favorite place
Best Pakistani/desi restaurant in Albany by far. As a student, I eat out mostly so have tried every other place but none have such variety and authenticity. Just have a look at the batair I ordered the other day. :D Wouldn't find this anywhere else in Albany!
Yes!!!!! Pakistani food!!!!! Sad to say that the owner is leaving and Sunday is his last day at this place. I was so happy to finally find a authentic Pakistani flavored food but too bad they are closing up. Legit Middle Eastern food like kabobs, lamb, curry, etc. Very friendly staff, complete with beards. Extra casual setting with a few wobbly tables and plastic flowers. Not a good place for a first date, go for the great food and and very reasonably prices.
MASHAAALLAH Awesome Zabihah Halal food ... definitely recommended ... INSHAAALLAH will always try to stop by when traveling upstate Ny ... esp. for fried chicken and zinger burger....
The food was excellent! I had spicy chicken with bone with spicy rice, and small salad that was amazing! My daughter had boneless chicken with rice and a small salad. She said it was very good. Thank you much for excellent meal!
We were returning from a long trip and when we reached to the Almadinah restaurant, it was almost closing time. We are grateful that they didn't refused us and took our orders for a take out. We ordered two different types of Kebab over rice. The food was so delicious - one of the best chicken kebab I have ever tried. To my utter surprise I found another box on the packet which we didn't ordered - a box full of Halwa. I immediately returned and thanked him for that. That halwa - it was so good that now i may drive another 160 miles from my home to Albany just to order that Halwa again! : Thank you so much for the food and your generosity! Jazakallah khair.
The food is good, but inconsistent. I always get chicken karahi, the first couple times was great, the last few times the sauce was different and maybe 2 bites of chicken, all bones. Disappointing.

This place is by far the best!!! The food is absolutely delicious and customer service is great, they were so friendly and very clean restaurant! I love trying new food from different cultures and this place was definitely my favorite so much I went 2 days in a row. Definitely my boyfriend and I favorite place to eat! Highly recommend!!
