Story

Al-Noor Foundation is a tax-exempt 501 (c)(3) religious organization (Tax ID 33-0908089). It is a nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation filed with the State of California under corporation no. 2228513. It provides facilities for religious worship and study for the Muslim community of Orange County, while promoting a more comprehensive understanding of Islam throughout the American Society at large.

We were established in year 2000 on a leased 2,500 square ft. facility in Fountain Valley, California. Currently, Al-Noor Foundation provides a Masjid for the performance of daily and Juma’s prayers, daily and weekly Islamic lectures, Islamic weekend school, quarterly seminars on various Islamic topics with invited speakers, extensive Ramadan program with invited speakers and Qari’s, Islamic holiday activities (Eid al-Fitr, and Eid al-Adha) in addition to other social activities including assistance to the needy, marriage contracts and provision of religious advice and guidance relative to marital, financial and religious problems.

Mission

Al-Noor Foundation mission and goals are

1. To promote the Obedience of Allah (SWT) by following the Qur’an and Sunnah

2. To promote Knowledge of Islam by continuously providing lectures and programs to the Muslim community

3. To promote Education of Islam by providing school for our children and youth

4. To promote Social support and cooperation by strengthening the bond among community members
