Great traditional British cafe. Not that it’s at all greasy, just that type of cafe where the locals will go for tasty, wholesome, food. The English breakfast is very good but there is also a range of other food including excellent fruit pancakes. Quick service too from the friendly staff. A fine eating experience.
Love a local cafe!!! Visited this little gem before returning home after a long weekend in London. Food was lovely, plentiful and so cheap! Great mural that spanned the length of one wall of the cafe too.
Good option for eat-in or takeaway lunch. Great selection of typical British cafe food, which is surprisingly hard to find locally these days. Service friendly and pretty quick but there can be long queues at peak time on busy days. Everything seems to be cooked on one grill, which doesn't bother me, but might concern those with allergies or dietary requirements, so would strongly advise letting them know if this is the case. Fast service, generous portion of food, a large cup of coffee. Recently renovated, now it feels spacious and has a lot of natural light. Whatever you order, keep the hash brown and the sausage as they are the best.
Very nice food. The venue is a little small, and when busy, you won't find a seat. That said, the staff give you time to sit down and read the menu before asking what you would like which was I feel very good customer service.Food: 4/5
Nice for a quick bite. Its a usual breakfast and sandwich burger place where you can fill your stomach and not hurt pocket. Food comes fast and staff is friendly. Simple and good.
Had a brilliant lunch here yesterday. Got a table easily, got served quickly and the service was friendly and professional. I was quickly served and the food was really tasty. Proper cup of tea too. Brilliant value for money when you compare prices of other eateries in Bermondsey. Was just what I was looking for. Honest, tasty food - good selection available too. Would definitely stop by again.

Excellent family, traditional greasy spoon cafe although *not greasy*, which is awesome!. We live close and it is a place we eat at at least once per week. Great breakfasts, really good lunch selections and they really care whether you’re happy with your food. An oasis traditional well-priced cafe in a sea of foofy expensive places on Bermondsey St. Can’t recommend enough
Had a breakfast here one morning, the pancakes were lovely, so good that I had them again the next morning before returning home from london. Lovely milkshakes too!
