Al’s fly boxes and nets are truly functional pieces of art. His pieces are truly the best quality you can find in the world of fly-fishing. I visited Helena for a conference and stumbled upon this wonderful gem, with much the same feeling that the miners of long ago had as they discovered gold in the very same place.  Mr. Swanson's furniture is an incredibly refreshing alternative to the mass produced particleboard that somehow makes its way into most of our homes.  His designs are original, creative, and most importantly, timeless.  There is a certain premium for such excellence, but it is also the premium attached to furniture that will be passed through generations.  Just walking through the showroom, with its view of the craftsmen and their workshop beyond the glass walls, is truly a feast for the eyes and hands.  A visit to Helena without a visit to this gallery is a great opportunity missed.
