They do everything they can to make you spend A LOT of money before they consider performing surgery on you. If you develop sleep apnea while they make you wait 8 months, you have to get a C PAP machine and use it for two weeks straight without issues(or a month depending on your insurance) That might seem like a non-issue, but if you have even minor claustrophobia, it becomes a HUGE issue. They will do NOTHING to assist. They pretty much tell you to F-off if you tell them you are having problems. By the time you might have a chance of finishing everything, you're changing jobs, moving to another state so you miss your chance. I do not trust them anymore to have my best interests in mind. It's starting to look like it's all about them making money.

Wonderful staff and doctors. Dr Schmitt performed my surgery. My only regret is not having the surgery sooner. I met my goal at 6.5 months post op and have had no issues and lab work at 3 months post op and 6 months post op were both perfect!!

Dr. Lee Schmitt did my gastric sleeve surgery. Everyone at Alabama Weight Loss Surgery is amazing. I highly recommend them for anyone thinking of having weight loss surgery.

I had weight loss surgery recently with Dr. Schmitt and he is an awesome Dr! Some patients choose Dr. Miles and I have heard the same thing about him! People from other cities and States drive to this Dr.

Dr Lee Schmitt performed my sleeve gastrectomy. He and his staff are awesome. The only regret I have is not doing it earlier.I had tried every diet and pills but could not keep my weight off with no success until now. Thank you Dr. Schmitt and staff.
