WOW. The change in my daily quality of life has been incredible and more importantly it has been long-lasting! Two months ago I happened to mention some challenges with hand strength and a tinge of shoulder pain to an employee at Alamogordo Physical Therapy. (I had chalked it up to my Rheumatoid Arthritis.) They set me up to be evaluated by Certified Physical Therapist Gilles Izabout and the transformation in my quality of life has been astounding. An overall evaluation uncovered hip alignment issues and a knee issue (which I had also mistakenly self diagnosed as arthritis symptoms). After my first appointment my hand strength improved dramatically, my shoulder range of motion was back to normal AND PAIN FREE, and I began to walk up and down stairs like I could years ago! A second and third appointment continued the journey toward improving my hand strength, shoulder range of motion and complete hip/knee pain relief. The ongoing exercises take little time and are so simple that I can't believe I didn't schedule time sooner. What a change! The staff is really friendly and my therapist took me ON TIME, EVERY TIME! I hope I don't need PT again, but you can bet the next twinge I won't wait- I will come RUNNING.......... or at least I am confident that I will be able to LEAVE that way ! I am absolutely amazed with this place! My doctor was excellent. I've suffered from back and neck and wrist pain for OVER 10 years from a car accident. My wrist was so stiff and painful I couldn't really use it much and previous doctors told me I would need surgery. After seeing Dr Gilles for only 10 minutes and little work on my neck ONLY I have full range back in my wrist and next to no pain at all! I will definitely continue to come here to care for my injuries, and for any future. Update: Also treated pain in my ankle (which was extremely stiff causing my toes to curl) and knee that I have had for a couple years. A little delicate work on realigning my hips and the problem is well on its way to resolving itself! I am 100% pain free 95% of the time. Before treatment my pain level was a steady 7 on a good day. I am extremely grateful for the doctors here!

Great facility and awesome employees. I have rehabbed here on several different occasions and will always return to this facility for any future needs. The staff is friendly and always willing to help with any situation. For those looking for a wonderful gym to work out at -- come on over and try the gym here, it's great!

As a patient of OT working with Brandi and Maria the teamwork they used and effort helped me adapt to living with one arm was phenomenal. Not only did i achieve my own personal goals I went beyond in strength and usability. Also upon getting a prosthetic the appointments were well worth the time having them teach me and push me to incredible accomplishments with the Michelangelo hand I have. Now i am volunteering working not only with the OT therapists but the PT ones as well has been a very beneficial and fun experience.

I have been coming to Alamogordo Physical Therapy & Wellness Center for a little over 2 months. My experience here has been nothing but satisfying with great care. The facility is very nice and all of the staff members are always very friendly. The care I have been given is very good and I have shown great improvement over the amount of time I have been coming here.
