I don't know much about cars but I know that my car was driving odd, smoking out the top & the breaks seemed to be loose. Carlos took some much needed time figuring out was was going on & once he detected the problem he gave me a very reasonable price.  The diagnostic + the replacement of an essential part= less than 400. My car feels so much better driving now & I feel a bit more educated about caring for my older vehicle. Thanks Carlos for the swift service and affordable prices.

Fair prices, top quality work done on time.  This shop is calm and competent.  The new location has room to park your car and leave it if they can't do your job right away.  Carlos is great!  Dmitri too, but don't see him too much anymore.   Highly recommended!

Unless you're going to do all the work yourself, it's important that you trust your mechanic and the work they do. I've bought 2 cars from Carlos and both he's maintained. They are efficient, super nice, and reasonably priced. Having a car in NYC can be brutal on your car so it's comforting to know that I have Alba Motors on my side. I have recommended them to several friends who now use them as well. 
These guys are great.
