I really enjoyed visiting here. The self-guided tour is top notch, but I would just say that it's worth the visit if only to get a sense of scale that the 50+ crew members of this particular vessel had to deal with! Tiny beds, packed in like sardines... Gives you even more respect for the folks who lived in conditions that the rest of us can't even begin to imagine! Well worth the trip

Now this is a nice stop the albacore has got so much history I give it 5 stars and tell you if you're in the area to please stop by. It is run a nonprofit organization, still cared for by the US Navy and gracefully attended to buy a volunteers. The albacore staff are full of information on her wonderful history, although I am a woman of peace and prefer peace over War this Little Submarine has helped us a lot with the future and safety of our submersible Navy men and women

Great experience of such a historic submarine well preserved and the museum inside had a lot of cool memorabilia from other boats as well. The man working the counter was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic also.

It's a History buffs for sure and it'll be a good to experience being in tight spaces if you want to serve in the Navy's Silent Services has a cute gift shop and bathrooms. Nice parking lot too.

Good little museum with reasonable prices. Website is not 100% up to date, when we went website said $14 for family, but price is now $16. Also, they are now open until 530pm, website said 4. These are all very minor details though. Its a nice little educational place to take the kids and learn a bit about our navy's past.
