I wish I could give this church zero stars. My experiences at this church growing up were traumatic. Leadership ignored child abuse they knew about. When I started acting out, as abused and traumatized kids tend to do, by doing scandalous things such as making out with boys, they decided to issue a printed ultimatum stating that if I didn't return by a set date, they would 'disfellowship' me. And of course I never showed up, because that's ridiculous. And they proceeded with their shunning ceremony. Thanks to years of therapy I've come to value myself DESPITE the abuse and the horrible way I was treated by church leaders and many members when I was still a child in my mind and in my heart.
