Judging from the other reviews here, I must have gotten a hold of the only person in this whole office that loves her job, because Amanda S. of Childcare is an absolute rockstar! Pray to the DSS gods that you get this wonderful lady in your corner. She's attentive, thorough, hardworking, and authentically interested in us as people! I never once felt like she thought any lesser of me for proactively seeking assistance for the outrageous childcare pricing at my daycare, and she went above and beyond multiple times to make sure we received the best care possible! We thank you so much for all of your hard work, Amanda! Way to go!

Poor service at HEAP program. Must leave a detailed message (including Social Security Number) and one can only hope that a professional staff member listens to the private message and responds. I've left two messages in one month and received zero response. I've worked for decades yet currently qualify for assistance on maintainence of a heating fixture in a newly acquired building. It's only winter and the calls concern a potential fire hazard. No big deal, I guess. My tax dollars not at work with Albany DSS.

I have called kimberly G 5 times and she has not return my calls, about what information i needed to finish my enrollment it is feb 19 and I still have not heard from her and she has all my info.

They don't assist you and they're rude. I needed assistance and was turned down, with no information on other resources.

This is the worst place the rating should be 0 but goole has it setup to have a lease 1 star workers are not here to help you there rude and very unhelpful Out of towners Stay far far way they will give you the run around even if you are homeless It better to die on the streets before this place will help you Its Like walking in to Jail on your own free will
