The best dentist and staff! I had a crown in my twenties and Dr. Hodges was the eighth dentist who helped me with it...and it's finally fixed! I highly recommend this dentist (and his staff)! My whole family loves going to the dentist!!

Description of Complaint: Refused to provide services for tooth extraction because office staff double booked their schedule. I was blamed for the inconvenience of the double booked time slot and was told my condition wasn't an emergency and that my condition didn't happen over night. When I called to schedule the appointment for the extraction earlier this morning, the office staff explained I had called the right place to have this done, that they would definitely be able to see me and get the teeth removed the day of the appointment. This was not the case. Again, I was blamed for the double booked appointment, the dentist was extremely unkind, unconcerned and displayed high level of unprofessional attitude. After looking at my teeth, I asked the dentist if he'd be able to extract the tooth, he lashed back with " I have a patient waiting." Uhhh, aren't I that patient is what I wanted to say, instead I left. Gave their hand painted Mason jar(they give presents because they need to overcompensate for lack of concern for their patients health)back to them and walked out. Felt as if I had just woken from a terrible dream as I drove home, in pain, at risk of infection, no relief of my situation. I apologized for bothering them and being an inconvenience to their office and boss. Was not expecting this outcome based on how pleasant the office staff member was over the phone when I called to see if they had time and space available for me. Highly upset and disappointed, did I mention still in pain, risking infection and can't take anymore time from work. That's right, I left work early anticipating relief and not having to take more time off after today due to the teeth giving me a fit.

I have been going to Dr Hodges since 2004. His work is excellent. Never does more than what is needed. He also sees my wife and kids. All of his assistants are very nice. The front desk personnel make you feel welcomed.

I was seen on very short notice and the staff were all super friendly and I got presents ;) They made me feel very welcome and at ease with my dental situation. I highly recommend.

I went to Dr. Hodges this morning to have a tooth checked that has been hurting. I ended up having to get a root canal and will go back for the crown. He was able to start working on my tooth right away since I was in pain. He did a great job noticing when I was in pain or needed a blanket. His staff members are extremely courteous and helpful. The front desk lady helped me figure out my insurance and the nurse who performed my X-ray was very sweet. The best experience you could ask for when you find out you need a lot of work done!
