This place is really about honesty and integrity. I would say one of the best and friendly auto repair center in Cedar Rapids. Unarguable, Albert Auto has best prices in town. Unlike others, there is no force sell at this place. Visit this place before some tells you to do all fluid flushes, tune-up etc. I saved $$. I recommend them to all. Glad to have found them. Hope they continue to keep up the good work.

When one Auto shop in Hiawatha told me they didn’t want to work on my car, it was too much work and I should sell it and go elsewhere...I saw Alberts on FB. Explained my issue got a quote and in two days they have it fixed. And under the $$ amount from the quote. I will be using them from now on.

My breaks went out on a Monday and alberts was the closest place. I knew it was a break line cause I had gotten down and checked it out. I have a 2000 grand am and I know it has issues but what I do not like is being told one price and then having him call the next day saying it would be 320 something. I told him I did not have that much money. So he called several times saying this and that needed fixed so after spending the night in the emergency room because I have been sick and am looking at surgery he kept calling. But he got his way and my bill was still 319 dollars from a sick person on disability. So he does not care if a sick disabled person has to sell things that have meaning to pay his over charged bill. Glad he is ok doing that. I grew up with mechanics and had a step dad that managed a service station for over 20 years and then taught at a automotive college also used to help my ex work on cars. So I am not stupid I know he jacked up the cost of parts and dragged out the labor. And he said it would be done on Tuesday but he called at 4:30 and he closed at 5pm sometimes it takes more then a half a hour to get a cab. Then dispite the fact that I was using a cane when we went in and the handicapped place card in the window they parked my car in the far back and on a hill with potholes so using a cane I almost fell. Then they left my keys in the ignition and car unlocked. So they had no respect for my personal property in the car including 2 carts I use for getting groceries and stuff to and or from my apartment. Not to mention someone could of very easily taken my car being parked out back there along the ally. I have never had any place leave my car unlocked like that and most likely it sat there all night there with the keys in it. And the part that really makes me made is yeah I have insureance but that can not replace a car that my dad gave to me before he died of cancer. So unfortunately I learned the hard way to not trust this place its not like I had much of a choice not having hardly any brakes so yeah I guess I had sucker written on my forhead. So thanks alberts for charging and cheating a disabled sick person out of more money then she had and hope you are happy that I had to sell my late husbands wedding ring to pay you. But you were determined to screw us over and you did. I knew when you kept calling this was the way you were A decent mechanic does not do this to any one. Please people do not use this place he will cheat you and leave the keys in your car overnight not careing if it gets stolen.

Good place to take your vehicle. I have a car that's difficult to work on and they always come through. At a reasonable price too!
