Great spot for techno style club music. Excellent layout. Awesome light with lasers and such. Very young crowd. Excessively loud music. Great dance spot

My friend was told by the security guard to get the f*** out of the way. The security guard was a short, blonde haired guy w/ a shirt that was too small.  I went inside to inform my other friends that I was leaving, due to the disrespect. Once inside of the establishment, I stepped on broken glass(numerous of times), and it was so packed(shoulder to shoulder), that it became unsatisfying during the 10 minutes that I was there. I have been to Alchemy before, and I had a great time, but something has changed. I'm not sure if the management has changed, or they just hired crappy security guard/clean up crew. Whatever the case may be, I won't be back. I'm not that obsessed with getting into their club.

Alchemy is one of the better night clubs is Raleigh, if not the best. Really good music, good crowd, and good selection of alcohol
