First visit to an ALDI store & will return. A little bit of a frenetic pace so be prepared for a crowd and be patient. Worth it though for the prices on staples like bread, dairy & meat. Interesting selection of really good cheese and frozen items. You may want to skip the cart on your first visit so you can get the layout of the store down before your next trip. Also, have a quarter ready when you do use a cart. It's a deposit that you will get back when you return your cart. I will absolutely go back!

I was quickly able to find the lint shaver that I was not able to find anywhere else.  I use a walker so the cashier was kind enough to bag some of my groceries while I was paying for my groceries. I really appreciated that. You don't get that kind of kindness anymore! I was at the Aldis in Rowland at about 12:00 PM. The cashier was a young lady who had a long line waiting to check out. She did not have to help me but she did.

I was timid about Aldi since it's a very simple, basic store unlike the larger grocery chains.  After trying it a few times I am a fan of the produce, special items they tend to find such as premium cheeses, shrimp or meats and they even carry healthy dog food.  Prices are always lower than the larger chain grocery stores and at times bananas are 1/2 the price of anywhere else.  They also have household items such as paper products, laundry, plants and random things that show up like from time to time such as a grill, clocks, etc. that they do not stock regularly.  It's not fancy but it is good quality and you save money.
