Aldi Benton Harbor is clean and a quick place to get all my basic groceries at very reasonable prices. The cashiers are super fast and the store even has specialty items such as cheese and imported meats from time to time. I save a ton of money on staples such as eggs, milk, bread, canned goods, dry goods and baking items. It is no frills and no name brands, but the quality of the food has so far been fine. I don't usually buy their fresh meat, but that is my personal preference, and find that I have more in the grocery budget to buy fresh meat from a butcher as all my basic items are so cheap here. You need a quarter to use a cart and must bag your own groceries, so I always have a bunch of reusable shopping bags when I shop here as you have to pay for bags or find boxes from the store to carry your groceries in.

No frills grocery shopping.  Unique items I can't find in regular groceries is a bonus on top of the money savings.  Nice line of gluten free items as well.  Bring your own bags or grab an empty carton as you go through the store.

Good food at great prices sometimes the prices are shoking. Eggs are less than $1.00 milk sometimes is less than a $1.00 a box of mac&cheese for ¢75 sometimes their food is not as good as name brand stuff.
