ALDI is our go to store for all our grocery needs. The place is clean, the staff helpful and prices are very reasonable when compared to other grocers. And the staff is very efficient. Huge billing aisles get taken care of in just a couple of minutes.
They run out of stock sometimes, when they run deals on certain produce and products. All their deals start on Sunday and that is the right day to go. But be prepared for a busy store.

A lot of the generic brand stuff is of the same quality as the name brand stuff...I swear it is sometimes the same product in a different box. If you aren't scared of generic brands, you can really stretch a budget here. Oh yeah, bring reusable bags and a quarter for the carts (you'll get it back when you return the cart).  They save money by not providing bags and keeping a few higher paid workers.

Do not buy meat here. Daughter has been sick for 3 days. Eat meat at Aldo at your own risk

ALDI is perfect. I just got a can of pure pumpkin for 79 cents. They have some idiosyncrasies like the unexpectedly warp-speed cashiers,  or the quarter collateral you have to post to borrow a cart, but it works because the lines move fast, and the parking lot is free of abandoned carts.
