Arrived on time. 5 minute wait. Taken to small changing room with locker for clothes, keys, wallet and cell phone. Changed into medical shirt. They let me keep my street shorts on since I was only having shoulder MRI. They took me to their most open MRI machine. I would describe it as a metal cushioned bed with a large floating metal diskabove it. When ready and positioned, the table slides under the disk. It was open on all sides except for the metal holding the disk which was behind me. I could see out a large window while the imaging was done. Mine took 4 images of 4 minutes each, for a total of 20 minutes machine time. Pleasant calming guitar music played. The staff were all friendly and kind.

My experience with Dr Alexander and all his staff was awesome. He preformed surgery on my knee without me having any pain! I personally recommend to anyone. I will be returning to him later this year to preform his handy work on my shoulder! Bill P

How do you rate a doctor and his staff? By how well you recover from the injury that they repaired for you. I had a very extensive shoulder injury along with other injuries that I sustained from an accident. I was very apprehensive about my long term recovery. Dr. Alexander said" the goal is to get me back to where I was before". Well, 3 1/2 months after my surgery, I'm please to say, am back to where I was before. To accomplish this you have to have an excellent Doctor and hospital staff which Alexander Orthopedic does have, from the receptionist to therapy personal, they supersede any hospital. If you are in need of an Orthopedist, look no further.....this place is awesome!

The front end staff is a little less than cheerful in greeting you. They all seem to pre-occupied on their computer screens to greet you properly. However, they do make sure you fill out the right forms and get your insurance information before having you wait and wait and wait before you see the Doctor. I WAITED an exactly 97 minutes to see the Dr. for exactly 11 minutes. They may very well know their medicine, but no one is worth waiting for that long. It's almost like your time is insignificant, like you have nothing else better to do with your time than wait to be blessed with their skill and knowledge! But to WAIT that long is ludicrous. Make sure you take a book, crossword puzzles or your tablet to occupy your time while you're waiting. Also, the charges billed to your insurance company are a little on the extreme side.

I have had rotator cuff issues for 10-12 years.I had not been able to play Frisbee with my kids, throw a ball, I had trouble sleeping at night with the pain. Finally in October of last year I completely tore the cuff lifting weights and the pain became much more acute and decided to do something about it. Dr. Alexander operated, and I went to physical therapy at his facility with Jeremy. The first month not using my right arm extremely difficult, however following his advice and Jeremy's physical therapy I now have, after four months complete range of motion with my right arm, less pain than I've had in years, and although I still have a way to go for a complete recovery, the care and professionalism I experienced it Alexander orthopedic were excellent. I highly recommend Dr Alexander and his facility and Staff.
