Lovely sights but the fish tacos had flour shells.  Pretty terrible, corn shells should be the standard for 🌮 🌮🌮

Rest of the food was good but the soft shell flour tacos were unacceptable. They weren't even fried up! Just cold flour shells.  At one point I was just looking at them and thinking to myself, why are you here, you should really be corn shells.  I didn't even eat the last one, I left it on the plate similar to how I leave the carcass of spiders I kill as a warning to other spiders.  I doubt they got the memo but if I ever go back I will ask if they have corn taco shells before ordering the fish tacos.

Although "good" food...way overpriced.    The outside tables desperately need cleaning/painting.

Ate upstairs at the Topside Grill. Good atmosphere; if you're lucky enough to get window seat then great view. Service staff was inconsistent and the meats were VERY over-cooked. One waitress was unprofessional and annoying...extremely chatty. Kathleen, our other waitress, was excellent. In conclusion try your luck somewhere else along the shore.

I have been coming to the Algonquin for a number of years and always enjoyed great food and hospitality.   During my last  visit I left my jacket on my chair.  I had to return to Pennsylvania the next morning and the restaurant was closed.   I called and they mailed it to me. Now that is wonderful service. Many thanks,  Kathleen Chandler

I recently enjoyed a delicious meal with a nice view of Lake George.
Our server served our drinks in a timely fashion and did not rush us to order. I appreciated having time to linger and enjoy the view. 
I ordered a shrimp and veggies in a ginger sauce over sticky rice and it was flavorful and filling. My husband had the grilled chicken in a salad and enjoyed his meal as well. 
Priced like most Restaurants on the Lake.
