I've been skating for 5 years+ and this is the only place I will ever shop! The owner, Lulu, is the nicest, most down to earth person I have ever met. She is very knowledgeable about what she sells and always there to answer any of my crazy questions about my gear. She will fit you with the proper gear for your skating style and will even help you stay in budget without pressuring you to spend more. Love All aBout Derby!!!!

I've been to All About Derby multiple times and have never had a poor experience. Lulu goes above and beyond to help you find what's right for you. 

I bought my startup gear at another store before hearing about All About Derby and they  didn't k ow what they were doing when they were helping me out (I didn't know any better at the time)  and they had me in elbow pads so tight my arms would be purple after a matter of minutes. 

Lulu quite literally saved me and my extremities...

Now I'll never go anywhere else :)

All about Derby is the best local store in Michigan to get any derby related gear. Lulu, the owner, is so helpful and sweet....she is the type to go the extra mile for her customers. She and her family travel all over the country to help teams and work events. I sincerely admire how hard she works and how honest she is when helping you pick out your gear.

All aBout Derby is a neat brick and mortar store that takes pride in the derby community. With a wealth of knowledge and a "customer first" attitude, they really go above and beyond to make sure their customers are taken care of. I have been going here for the last two years and have only had the best, most pleasant experience I could ask for. All aBout Derby is the only place I will go to if I am ever in need of items for my skate maintenance, gear, and/or a much needed skate upgrade. 

Lulu is very helpful when it comes to answering questions. Response time is immediate and if there is a particular item you are interested in, she will work with you on locating and obtaining it as well as provide pros and cons compared to other brands of a similar item.

I can not count the amount of times lulu from all about derby has saved me at the last minute. She is knowledgeable about all the gear and I trust her with my knees. 

So thankful to have all about derby  and lulu as a local skate shop
