Story

Dr. Stephen Lavrisa grew up in the Chicagoland area and attended Loyola University for his undergraduate degree. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago Dental School with a degree in general dentistry.

Dr. Lavrisa proudly served three years in the United States Air Force stationed in California, practicing in clinical rotations of prosthodontics, periodontics and oral surgery. Upon completion, he returned to his roots in the Chicago area and practiced in Wheaton and Sandwich for three years. He then joined a partnership in Montgomery where he practiced for six years. In 2003, Dr. Lavrisa moved his practice to Geneva and specializes in cosmetic dentistry. He currently welcomes all patients.

Dr. Lavrisa is a gentle and highly experienced dentist that does quality work. He is a kind heart that cares about his patients as family. The staff are friendly and make you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in the door. Also, the front desk does a great job helping you understand the details of your necessary treatment and the insurance coverage. Very transparent and professional. Would highly recommend this office for your dental needs.

I have been seeing Dr. Lavrisa and his team at All About You Dental Care for years. I have never been disappointed and never dread going to the dentist. They provide very nice appointment reminders via text and email, so you can easily remember your appointment or reschedule if you need to. I love my hygienist, Myrna. She is great to talk to and has plenty of fun facts and useful tips for dental hygiene. If you need a filling, Dr. Lavrisa makes this process absolutely painless. Don't dread the dentist- go to All About You Dental Care! They have a great referral program too ; )

I recently had an excellent experience here, as did my husband. We are new to the area and it's always tough to reestablish healthcare. I am very happy we found this practice. The staff (all of them!) is welcoming, friendly, professional, and attentive to detail. There are a lot of little touches that go a long way (welcome bag, background on dentist provided at first visit, tips from hygienist throughout cleaning, etc.). Denise (office manager) is awesome with all insurance/billing needs (gave me an estimate on filling I needed in advance, nice courtesy). They also accommodate schedules really well to do everything to be convenient for you. I got a follow-up call one day after my filling just checking to see how I was feeling, also a nice touch. All in all, a lot of attention to detail to truly make the patients feel cared for during all procedures. Highly recommend.

We moved here from Sycamore and had a great dentist out there that my 5 yr old absolutely loved. Was worried I wouldn't be able to find anything closer that he liked as much. No more worries, he actually likes this place even better and so do I! Everyone we have encountered has been super friendly and helpful. Dentist is great, good with kids and adults. Very happy and will be making this our permanent home for dentist visits!
