Had an exceptionally poor experience with All Creatures Veterinary Hospital, Saturday 12-09-17 I took my 7 month old Akita in for treatment. She had gotten into the trash and consumed onions from some leftover Chinese food a couple days prior. She was very lethargic, had a lot of blood in her urine,  she was having trouble breathing, and was drooling more than normal. I informed the Dr. of all this and he proceeded to diagnose and treat her for a UTI. I was not very confident in his diagnosis. So I did some research and found out onion poisoning is very serious and that Japanese breeds such as my dog are extremely sensitive to the toxins. I called back to the Dr. and informed him of these things. His response was he was not aware of the breeds sensitivity to this type of poisoning. He informed me I could return the medication he prescribed and get it refunded. Upon going back to return said medication, they charged me a $9 dispensing fee. I find it utterly ridiculous that after my poor experience and wasted money being treated for misdiagnosis, they would insist on charging me for returning the unopened medication. This made it clear to me they are more concerned about their $9 than they are about making right with a customers poor experience. They have a very nice facility, and very nice staff however, your customer service is poor at best. Will not be returning to them.

The staff and Scott r very helpful.  They answer all questions and call to make sure your fur babies are doing ok. Scott is one of the best vets I've had work on my animals to this day.

Dr. Jim always seems able to pull the magic rabbit out of the hat to save my most precious one.  His son, Wade is very good too. Complaint:too far away from me
