If you're looking to pay the outrageous prices (or more) of the big movers, but still receive the sub-par, leaves a lot to be desired service of the craigslist moving buddies, these are your guys. He won't tell you it's cash only until half your stuff is on the truck, and expect to pay about 30% ($600 in my case) more than he quotes you over the phone because he does a quick "inventory" of your stuff and comes up with a magical weight estimate rounded to the nearest pound. "I've been doing this a long time, I can tell." he says. Again, you won't find any of this out until it's the last minute and you don't have any other choice. You'll watch them load the truck to make sure everything looks secure. Awesome Job! Only to find out that when it gets to your destination, it's been moved to a different (rental) truck. Things will will turn up missing and he'll swear he put them aside in a different box, when in all reality they were just broken or stolen. But he won't own up to that. However, he will offer to take a claim to use the "insurance" money that is included, then he'll scoot on his way as fast as he can. But of course he'll never answer your phone call again. He'll charge you for taxes in both locations but I would bet the government never sees a dime of this money. The only receipt you'll get is a chicken scratch piece of paper that looks like a 3rd grade assignment where everything is mispelled. Had a great time sending that to my company as back up for the reimbursement expense report after the move! Moral of the story, these guys are FAR from professional, have no idea what they are doing, just want your money and you'll likely have missing/broken items after spending a fortune to get it moved. Wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. The ONLY reason I used these guys is because by the time I figured out how sketchy and conniving they were, it was too late. Don't make the same mistake I made. Please!
