Splash pad was fun but I feel it needs some attention... water kept shutting off and then coming back on randomly and some of the water spouts weren't functioning..... other then that park is really nice clean and has all u need basketball court, fitness area and very nice playground for the kids.....
The park does not look very inviting from the street,but is rather nice. The water splash pad is great.
Nice and clean park, my kids had fun
Its a great little park. Only draw back is police presence when minorities visit the park. They hover over its community citizens as if we're criminals. Its ironic considering there promoted as the good guys. But in reality there the real danger to the citizens of this community. There always in areas where our children gather. It just doesn't feel safe when there around. 7/2022 police using school temple academy next door to train on targeting our community children under the pretense of protecting them. I posted picture of this training gathering. Pretty scary, the lengths this organization goes to make what they do look like justice. A scary site from park fence line.
The park is pretty clean and I like to do some exercises on the machines there. It's a relatively safe neighborhood.
1st time here at Allen J. Park, it is a very small "park", it was okay to fly my DJI Phantom 3 professional quadcopter there. Also there is a decent basketball court here, which is always good. However, it is in a LOW income area neighborhood, so I imagine the local gangbangers, are around this park and the surrounding area. Anyways see pic's below.
I grew up around the corner and I tell u it's a great park
It’s 104 degrees right now September 3 it is very hot and this park is supposed to have a water play area, and the hours say 10 to 7 pm and I arrived at noon and the water was turned off, I called the office because there were many children waiting for the water, nobody answered and I went and knocked on the door and there was a woman and she told me that in half an hour and wait almost two hours and no one ever came to turn on the water
Place is nice, clean and safe! Water splash pad is awesome
Could use more canopies over picnic areas. Bathroom stalls need latches to lock.
