I shop here often, mostly out of convenience of location. They have a friendly staff and a stocked selection of goods. Their deli is outstanding. I will make a special trip to get some fried chicken and potato logs. Here's a secret, if you go within an hour of closing time, all the deli food is half price.  I am an advocate for small businesses and it makes me sad to see  corporate America crushing them into extinction. I try to support them as much as I can but if they want to survive, they need to step it up. This store is not well maintained and needs a deep cleaning and, if economically plausible, a full on renovation. If not, it needs to be updated as much as possible. With a little innovative effort and a leap into the 21st Century, Allen's could be equal to Smith's.

Poor Allen’s. They are not exactly a great grocery store, but they are the grocery store that I will most miss when they close in a few days. It feels a bit like I imagine an East German  supermarket might feel like during the 1970s, but with the helpful addition of Western Family. It’s slightly more expensive than most of the other local grocery stores, but they are having close out sales from now until they close.

Staff are friendly, prices are good. Often have discounted items in carts near the check out stands. Never busy so you don't wait in line hardly at all. Some of the shelves are empty, but basic selection is good.

A very convenient location for somebody in South Provo, and it's prices are competitive, and they always have fantastic weekly promotions. A great place to stop by to pick up a last minute ingredient, however occasionally an item we are looking for is out of stock, particularly fruits/veggies, or they are sometimes lacking fresh produce. Also there have been a couple of instances where we bought frozen food without checking the expiration date and they ended up being several months expired, so we always check the dates religiously while shopping here.

Sometimes has better prices than other stores, but not as full stocked as other stores close by. It is in a residential area, so it is very convenient to that community. The people there are really nice.
