I work for IHSS through the county and anyone whoever has been on the payroll for ihss knows that the processing date and the date in which you actually get the check can be over a week apart. In fact Allied cash was quite aware of this phenomena and said they would be willing to wait until the 14th which is a week away from the 7th IHSS's normal processing date. I also explained that my phone services was going to be changing over and if they didn't hear from me by the 13th to send me an email. Well they didn't. they put the check through early on a brand new account before the 12th which is the day i found out because when I went to deposit my check I asked if $117 would be available right away in cash so I could run across the street to Allied cash and the bank told me that wouldn't be possible to get any cash back because my brand new account was already in bad standing and that I should cash my check somewhere else in order to accomplish my goal of paying Allied. which automatically left put me overdrawn which a whole chain reaction of events came of this. In the end the loan I got from allied cash of $100 ended up costing me over $270 thus far my new bank account and that doesn't even include there $17 service fee and $15 bounced check fee's. I immediately went into Allied and saw the girl that had helped me. She asked how I was doing and I said not to well. She then just kept saying I'm sorry to hear about that and that she had tried to call me. I then asked her why if I wasn't even late and she just kept saying that she tried to call and how sorry she was that I felt the way I do. In order to cover all the fee's I went to Check and go for another payday advance. and someone in line overheard my conversation with the lady at the window and they claimed the same thing happened to the and the lady at the window said this was by far not the first complaint she had heard of similar circumstances.

On September 1, 2012 my check was presented to Allied Cash Advance's bank. Because of the holiday weekend it was shown as pending on my account. I issued a stop payment on the check from my account with my bank. The stop payment was in place and the check was sent back to Allied Cash Advance. Allied Cash advance went into the local Bank and negotiated to have the check changed from a paper check into a certified cashiers check and proceeded to cash the check. July 1st, 2012 I was contacted by Allied Cash Advance and told they were unable to verify funds for my check. I told them I would be in later that day to pay the loan in order to stay in compliance with my agreement. After an hour I was contacted back from Allied cash advance and was informed that my balance was $1183.33. I have never given authorization for this company to look into my account and see what funds were in my account. The called into the consumer telephone line and entered my account number, which they have since it is on my checks, the proceeded to enter the last four digits of my social security number and were able to access my account. By doing this they have violated my privacy rights. They have also broken the law. At no point in time have they ever been granted access to my account to see what funds are in my account. I plan on speaking with an attorney to see what my legal rights and responsibilities are. By accessing my account they have breached the contract I signed. With the information they have currently in their possession they can transfer funds from my account and completely close my account. I have contacted my Bank and they have made extensive notations on my account regarding this matter. They have also put in additional safeguards to help protect me from this company.I have filed complaints with the BBB and the State Attorney General's office has launched an investigation. I would not recommend them to anyone. They are deceitful with their practices and will try and defraud you and rob you blind. Don not provide them with your social security number and do not provide them more then required to get a loan.
