Story

The hospital is located at the corner of Alma and Hedgcoxe in city of Allen. Our 4,200 sq. facility offers you a wide variety of services. We provide pediatrics, preventive medicine (vaccination, physical exam, etc.), boarding, grooming routine check-ups, dentistry, geriatrics, and surgery. Our diagnostic facilities are state-of-the-art with access to blood work machine, radiology, ECG, otoscopy, ultrasound and much more. Our drive-through capability provides you with a faster and more convenient service for medicine pick-ups or pet drop-offs. Our boarding facility is equipped with internet cameras which give you the comfort of checking on your pets while you're hundreds of miles away. We encourage you to drop by our facility for a tour. We really appreciate your trusting us with your pets.

Took my dog for an ear infection. I've been looking for a permanent vet for all my pets. Flynn, a Rottweiler was greeted with love. Nobody asked me if he was a "nice dog" or acted shocked that he just wanted to be petted. Two animal nurses helped me battle him to let them treat his ears. Didn't act scared and where confident and Flynn is no lightweight. The price seems fair. Good experience.

The entire staff was unequivocally the best. Hands down. Patient, thorough, and polite. My dog have been to many veterinary clinics over the years but from now on I"ll keep my dog with Alma Animal hospital. Prices? If you're looking for quality care with fair prices, THIS IS THE PLACE!! Their pricing isn't the highest (tho it certainly could be) nor is it the lowest. It's typical for the area and probably a little lower than it could be I highly recommend.

We brought our new puppy here for a check up. The staff at the counter was very friendly and helpful. The vet was okay. She sort of stood there just looking at us. She didn't conduct a physical exam of the dog or review her teeth or anything that you see most vets do. They did weigh her and check her stool for worms so that was something. Not a terrible experience, but we were expecting a little more. The friendly staff made up for it a lot though and the prices seemed good with a discount for first visit.

Not my dog's favorite place, but he gets good care here. They care about your fur children and it shows in the treatment they give.
