We are surrounded by trails for hiking or snowshoeing and are located just off the famous "Lariat Loop". We're less than an hour from the Denver International airport, 20 minutes from Golden, Colorado, and a little over a half hour away from LoDo (Lower Downtown) in Denver. The lodge has 6 suites and 1 cabin, each with their own unique personality. Take a look at their offerings below, or on our website, and pick the one that's just right for you. Drop by and stay awhile. You may arrive as strangers, but you'll leave as friends.

First B&B Experience!

My wife and I have never stayed at a Bed & Breakfast/Inn before and we decided to give it a try and we’re glad we did! We booked a few days at the Alpen Way Chalet in Evergreen, Colorado. 

The new owners, Tom and Lisa greeted us as we pulled into the compound and gave us a tour of the property and available rooms! We settled on a beautiful room with a fireplace and kitchen, everything was spotless. Our room also came with a balcony which allowed us to photograph the animals (Elk and Deer) that visit the Inn quite often! Each morning we were greeted with a breakfast basket of homemade breads and muffins. We have never been treated like this by any hotel chain!

Tom and Lisa were extremely helpful in informing us where to visit in the area as well as the best places to eat. They even directed us to a great restaurant in Denver to go to before our flight home.

Our first B&B experience was exceptional because of the service and attention we received at the Alpen Way Chalet! We look forward to seeing our new friends, Tom and Lisa the next time we are in Colorado.

We had our wedding here at the end of June and it was fantastic! It was a great place to have a small wedding and reception. The location was beautiful and Tommy, Lisa & Virginia were a great help setting it up. They are the new owners of the place and it was there first wedding that they hosted. We they worked really hard getting the place ready and they have done a lot of work updating the place since they have taken it over. All of our guests really liked the rooms too. Each one has its own unique feel to it. it was a great experience all around and I highly recommend staying here.

We got married at the Alpen Way Chalet in the middle of September and the location could not have been more perfect! Tommy and Lisa were absolutely wonderful and made the entire experience. The pergola is beautiful and the grounds and the lawn made for the perfect small wedding. I would not change a single thing, I am so glad we got married there!
