Story

Alpenglow Adventure Sports was founded in 1986 to provide a source of climbing gear to the climbing community in Maine. Since then Alpenglow has steadily grown to become one of the premier sources of climbing gear in New England. The name Alpenglow represents diffuse light over mountains and was chosen because it represented a spiritual connection to high mountains. All of our staff are climbers and active outdoors - many are guides for Acadia Mountain Guides as well.
