My husband had surgery scheduled at Rothman Institute. We checked into the Alpenhof and met Roland and Judy. They could not have been more accommodating and welcoming. My husband was in the hospital for three days, so after spending each day with him, I would return to the Alpenhof and was made to feel as though it was my "home away from home". The kindness of these two wonderful innkeepers was extraordinary. They made sure that I had a homemade, hardy breakfast each morning and offered tea in the evenings after the long days spent in the hospital. Judy and Roland were so concerned about my husband and his recovery that they offered to change our room so that he wouldn't have to climb so many stairs and they wanted him to spend the first day of his release from the hospital at the B&B so they could help me take care of him. It isn't often that such hospitality is extended these days and we will always appreciate the concern and care we received from Roland and Judy. We hope to return to the Alpenhof. This time to explore the fun town of Media, o experience the Alpenhof beautiful grounds, and to see our new friends, Roland and Judy. I wish I could give this establishment ten stars!
