I dropped in on Alpharetta Crossing to have lunch at Alpha Soda. Alpha Soda is a long standing restaurant in Alpharetta. They used to be on main street before they created the park by city hall. Alpha Soda still offers the traditional southern vegetable plate everyday with a choice of probably 20 different  vegetables everyday and the choices change over the course of the week / month / year. They also serve brunch, lunch, dinner. They serve large portions.

There are a couple of other restaurants in the shopping center. I believe there is a Chinese restaurant,  a Mexican restaurant, a bagel place, a Starbucks, and a Burger King. At one point their was a Heilyn Cleaners; if it is still there, it is an excellent cleaners.

I think I go here for the Hibachi place which is fantastic. Other than that, I avoid anything that begins with Wal Mart like the plague and Starbucks is an every once in awhile kinda place for me. This particular location is not convenient at all and has no drive thru (pretty sure). It might be the most inconvenient Starbucks ever now that I think about it.

This Starbucks is very welcoming. Emily always acknowledges the fact that I am a frequent customer. She even gives me free black coffee during my nights of deep studying. Dennis is also very nice. I recommend this Starbucks if you are looking for an atmosphere that is very friendly.

If you are in the mood for hibachi, pizza, or just drinks and wings this mall has some great spots.  Hibachi Express offers quick takeout, though limited options so far as wellness of steak.  If you had to Mellow Mushroom make sure to ask for Sarah or Jess, both are excellent servers who have clearly been in the business long enough to know how to keep customers coming back.  Loco's (just down from Mellow Mushroom) has excellent deals on drinks and better wings than, say, Hooters.  They have a family-friendly dining area and a separate bar including two recently re-felted pool tables and a new pong pong table (table tennis games are free and they have equipment, however I recommend your party bring STIGA 3-star balls since the balls at locos are substandard--still, free table tennis!).  This mall is a favorite spot to hang.
