The business and the very adept owner is still very much there - today's date is May 12, 2014.  
She did such a terrific job with hemming the length of the arms & cuffs of  my new spring jacket as well as hemming a dress I've had for a couple of years...she hemmed the 'lining'  as well as the dress itself.  Doesn't advertise that I know of...I found out through word of mouth.  I came to google to find her phone number to take some more clothes needing alterations and happened to see the rating that said she was no longer there...thank goodness she very much is!

Good news. Alteration Station is still open T-F from 10:00-4:00 PM. It is also open a few hours on Saturday. (I am writing on June 23, 2015)    The person who reported that they were closed must have come on Monday. 

The store is just past CVS Pharmacy, on the same side of the road. From Sun City Center Blvd, turn toward CVS on Pebble Beach.  Nice lady and good service. We live in Ruskin, so it is the very convenient

The previous review was incorrect. Alteration Station is indeed still open. The proprietor,  Carole, is friendly and helpful. They're closed on Mondays but she said she is often there doing work and will answer the phone.
