I was supposed to see Dr. ZLupko on my 1st visit but they put me with Dr. Kennedy, a rude, arrogant bastard I hope I never see again. He did not know how to do a pap smear, so he did a D&C instead, and nearly killed me. I had severe bleeding and a horrible, smelly infection afterward. Then I finally saw Dr. Zlupko who resolved the problem. I complained to the office manager about Dr. Kennedy, but he is probably still there butchering other women.

The physicians here are the most arrogant people I have ever met! I’m a nurse and I know bad doctors and these are bad doctors. I had been complaining about vaginal and labial burning and pain so bad it hurt to walk, sit or even just put on clothes for about 10 months and had scheduled multiple appointments with them. They ran no cultures or tests. They kept treating me for a yeast infection that I didn’t have. My last visit there was March 2017 and after I was told there was nothing wrong with me stop coming in, I made the best decision and transferred. After 2 appointments in 2 weeks, the wonderful nurse midwife at Bedford OB/GYN knew what was wrong with me and believed me 100%! I have vulvodynia and vaginismus (which are fairly common). This was believed to be caused by a D&C I had here in May 2016. Thanks to the physicians at Altoona OB/GYN I was delayed treatment for over a year, suffered a great deal of pain physically and mentally and have had my dreams of having children severely delayed. THESE DOCTORS DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS!!! If anyone is reading this and is a patient of theirs and is being ignored, please please go get a second opinion!

I saw Dr. Zlupko for what turned out to be fibroids. He told me at age 34 that I was already too old to have children. Then I went to Pittsburgh for a second opinion and no one at this center would see me again. They literally blacklisted me for getting another doctor's opinion. Then I tried to get my medical records and they refused to give them to me, which is illegal. I should have sued them. These doctors are shamefully worthless, the staff is irresponsible and neglectful.
