Always say prove yourself with consistent direct deposit and we will help you build you credit. 3 years of same deposits and they still wont help

Fantastic! I am a member at a different credit union. My CU and Altra are both in a group of CUs that interact. I have made several transactions through Altra and have always been very impressed with the level of surface and friendliness of the staff. Now that I have moved to the area, I am looking forward to opening an account at Altra.

THEY ARE HORRIBLE THEY SAY THEY DONT HAVE THE SAME ANTICS AS  THE BIG BANKS BOLOGNA STY AWAY FRO THEM WASTE OF TIME

Altra has a $32 non-sufficient funds fee that adds to every single draw on your account, down to a $0.20 Paypal bank verification.  There is also a $32 overdraft fee every 7 calendar days you're negative.  Beware the severe hidden fees in an otherwise friendly, small institution.
