I stop by here every few years when I pass through the area. I was there about 3 weeks ago and as always the food was great and I will always come back. And the Turkish coffee is absolutely delightful!
The food is always very good here. Never a doubt about that. However the service was anything but good! The lady who took my order young white was absolutely uninterested in the job. If she doesn’t like working just quit! There’s no need to pretend like a forced labour. I asked for a to go order and she took my name. I was waiting literally in front of her and she just kept the food in the side table. Didn’t call out my name or even had the basic courtesy to say she kept that food on the to go counter. Later on the cook had to come ask me if I needed something and gave my food which was waiting there for about 15 mins with the rest of the other orders. Seriously just fire her. If the management need more clarity I’m happy to help them. Thanks
Food was good, but the service left something to be desired. I’d definitely go back, but only if I was in a patient mood Vegetarian options: Falafel plates and sandwiches, abundance of salads, vegetable tagine, various meatless sides and apps
I wasn't sure what to expect going in. The storefront is small. It's a little dark going in. The counter is full of fresh baked goods. I had a cashew square. I don't remember the actual name. I also ordered a chicken kabob sandwich. My husband had the baba ganoush sandwich. We did order an appetizer too the spinach feta pie, also delightful. They were both incredible! Definitely the top ten sandwiches we've had. We sat outside and people watched as we ate. It really was a perfect lunch experience. I highly recommend it. Vegetarian options: The baba ganoush is a vegetarian option and it was delicious.
Food is generally good, but stay away from the salmon, I really didn't like their salmon omelet. Their dessert crepes are delicious, and my favorite thing to get from here is just any vegetable omelet. Great chai latte too! Service is always slow, though, so make sure you have time to sit down and wait. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options and you can also ask them to make some omelets without meat. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available.
Stopped in Northampton to explore the town and popped in here for dinner. The kebab sandwich was pretty good, the Amanouz royal feast was ok, liked the moussaka best. The dolmas were ok as well. My favorite though was the desserts! I love trying mediterranean pastries and tried their pistachio baklava and maamoul which were fab. Will definitely come back and try more of their food next time I’m nearby!
Really disappointed. We Love Middle Eastern food. Worst baba ganoush I ever had. Too many sauces drowning the food so the meat disappeared. Food took way too long and didn't all come out at the same time. It was graduation weekend so maybe the wait staff was exhausted.Food: 2/5
Amazing cosy place to taste the best of what Moroccan cuisine has to offer. The owner is an amazing, nice person. I highly recommend.
My wife and I came here a few weeks ago. Needed dinner as we passed through the area, and this is a place we'll make a point of coming if we're back in the area. She'd never had Moroccan but was itching for falafel, and then discovered tagine, which was lovely. The Royal Feast appetizer was great, and the Marrakesh Plate was really interesting. Want to come back at breakfast to try an omelette, or do cous cous.
Amazing experience; great prices, good atmosphere, chill music & decor. The food was delicious, well made, generous portions & the service was wonderful. Love this place. Found it because a pretentious cafe on the block was charging a $2 markup on their menu prices with the excuse that “the new menus hadn’t come in” - walked away and found this gem in contrast, so glad that other place sucked! Now we know the best in the area! The exquisite labneh is gluten free, so you can totally get a gf wrap, no problem, no markup! Friggin awesome! Loads of vegan options. Don’t love that swordfish is on the menu, but I love everything else about this place & the espresso is fabulous. They have beer & coffee, and espresso-based drinks as well.
