I Had some property stolen and the detectives assigned to my case were completely useless. They don't care and was very disrespectful when I asked any questions or called to inquire about updates. They are not professional and not very smart.

I just wanted to say that I am extremely impressed with the professionalism of the department and it's officers. I took part in the 16th student academy as well as a couple ride alongs with a few of the officers. These individuals deserve great respect for what they do and put up with. Thank you.

I live across from a bunch of drug heads, and have witnessed multiple illegal things. Such as the man beating on different women, bringing stolen stuff in and out, and drug dealing. The whole neighborhood has problems with them. They've stolen from me and have been caught sneaking around in my back yard and in the ally. As any normal person would, I call the cops. They never do anything, they are always smart asses and rude and very unhelpful. I know not every police man and woman in this department are awful, but the ones I have had to deal with are lazy, rude and just plain stupid. I respect the men and women in blue, but A.P.D. seriously needs to get take a closer look at some of the idiots they have in their employment that give all their other police officers terrible reputations.

My opinion changed when I did a minor class a misdemeanor of shooting a gun. These guys could've nailed me butt good. They kept me out of jail and Big Mack was very polite and thanks officer Heath for keeping your finger off the trigger but weapon drawn in a non threatening manner even when I reached into my pocket to throw my phone aside. Thanks for offering me a job after I get out of the Marine corps.
