A friend of mine and I had scheduled an appointment for Thursday about three weeks prior actually maybe four weeks. Something came up in both of our schedules last minute that was going to prevent us from keeping that appointment. So the day before the appt, (Wednesday), my friend called the salon to cancel the appointment and to see if Andy had time for us that day. He did. So she went in at 11:30 and then he had time for me at 1:30. When I came in, Kevin (owner) said what do you need. I said I’m good, I’m here to see Andy and my friend is with him now. I proceeded to walk back over by them. Next thing I know Kevin is talking, I’m sorry YELLING in his language at, I’m assuming Andy and the lady that was there. (Which turned out to be his wife). She kept looking at me as he was yelling so I started to get the feeling it was about me for some reason. I had no idea what I could possibly have done to create such a nasty environment. Kevin eventually got up from his table, left his client, walked towards the back still YELLING. My friend informed me that before I got there she was told that we weren’t allowed to walk in anymore for an appointment. (Even though in big letters on front door it says WALK INS WELCOME.) We would have to schedule the day before. I’m like OK well, I don’t typically schedule appointments, I usually always walk in. But we just happened to schedule that appointment for the following day a month prior because my friend was coming to town. But something changed in her schedule as did mine last minute so we had to cancel it. We did not miss an appointment that was made, we canceled an appointment that was made for the following day. Apparently that was a huge problem to Kevin. So as he walked past me, glaring at me with a dirty look on his face and yelling, I finally said is there a problem that you’re having with me right now? And that’s when he started to yell at me that how dare we make an appointment, that he held that time for us and he would not be able to fill it with somebody else. (Of course he could fill the appointment. A customer will walk in and take it no problem. We each had an hour appointment. It’s not like we booked half the day away. It’s right before the holidays. I strongly doubt he would have a problem filling that time. I truly have never heard of such a thing.) I said, we canceled it today. The appointment is not till tomorrow. It’s not like we scheduled an appointment and just didn’t show up. We did give you the courtesy of canceling it 24 hours ahead and now you’re going to yell at me and treat me like this in front of people in your salon? Seriously? He says I’m the owner and manager. So I guess that makes him think it’s OK to yell at people. Well, it is not OK! I am a licensed cosmetologist and I worked in a salon for 29 years and never in my life have I ever spoken to a customer that way nor have I heard the owner/manager talk to a customer in the way he spoke to us. There are many different choices for nail salons out there and I will be happy to spend my money elsewhere at this point. It just makes me sad because Andy, who did my nails is very good at his job. It’s really a shame that his boss is running his clients away. Kevin needs to learn how to be respectful to people if he wants to have a successful business. Quite frankly every time I’ve gone in there it’s very slow compared to other places I have gone. I’ve also seen other negative reviews about his behavior. He lost two REGULAR customers. But he doesn’t care. Kevin, is extremely rude, I will never walk in there and spend my money again!

Most of my nails look good, but the real issue here is the man who works there. He kept making rude comments for me to relax my fingers, when I've always had a hard time relaxing fully. He bad mouthed a really great business owner of another salon that I previously used to go to before moving and who quite frankly, is better and more professional than he is. Then before my pedicure I asked to use the restroom and he sighed and shrugged his shoulders and said, "why didn't you go before?" Who says that? I repeated him questionably and said, because I didn't have to go before. Just rude. No other way to put it. I won't go back simply because of his attitude.

Absolute worst "manicure" I have ever received. I asked for the new gel powder. She assumed I didn't want a manicure, just the gel powder. (My nails looked awful!) She tried to fix my cuticles AFTER she painted my nails. She filed my nails back so far that she was filing my skin! I was charged $45.00 for an awful job. Extremely disappointing as they are new to the area and I had been hoping they would shine. The gentleman who owns the place also yelled at his employee in front of me before my pedicure. I wish I would have walked out then. I should have known better. Don't waste your money or your time.

Very nice! My mother and I walked in and they took us right away. The girls were gentle and our nails look great! We will definitely be going back.
