I now eat here almost weekly. I moved from Atlanta a few months ago and I must say this is the best Jamaican food I’ve had, period. The best out of Pearland, Houston, and Atlanta. I usually get the curry or jerk chicken and the sides are always flavorful. The patty’s, both beef and chicken, are must haves. The restaraunt is also very clean and inviting and the service through door dash is also good if you’re too busy to go in. The owner is very sweet and accommodating. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

I was really wanting Jamaican food all day. I had been  to this place before so I decided to try it again. Had family from out of town , ten adults with two little kids. We arrived first and were waiting for the others. We had the kids and I stopped at Canes to get 2 kids meals. The lady was so mean and was upset that I brought in food from somewhere else. Told me that you can’t bring in food from somewhere else. She left our table with a nasty attitude. We left that place and will never go back . They had no customers at the time and we would have likely been her biggest sale for the night, a party of ten. We went right down the street to the curry spot. They were very very nice.

Echoing need for ambience and staff. Would like to see the artwork finished. The bolts on the wall have been there for a while and leaves an impression that things aren’t being pursued with conviction.

Over price and small portion, foods had a good taste but no better than other Caribbean places

The food here is extremely authentic and I recommend anyone in the Pearland area to give them a try and you will not be disappointed I just ordered the red snapper along with a vegetarian plate and I can't wait to get home so I can see again oh by the way you can have your red snapper cooked a couple of different ways you can have it steamed or you can have it fried.
