This has been our go to theatre for years. As a family of 5 it costs a lot to see a movie and buy popcorn and drinks. My kids get gift cards from their aunts and uncles for Christmas, since AMC took over, they will not accept them. All that money wasted.  They could of at least honored them for a period of time. Oh and the popcorn was cold and stale. More wasted money.

Love this cinema! I can't remember which day it is but I think they still have a $5 movie day, I used to go to that a lot. I grew up locally though so I know that they drained a large beautiful pond with big lilly pads and cut down a lot of trees to build it...which made me angry as a child, but I got over it. After they built it my cousins and I used to walk the short distance there to see a movie together on Christmas eve. Good memories.

The 20 minute trip here is worth it for the best prices and food specials in the area. Get the annual bucket and you can take some delicious extra popcorn home for later. Friendly staff and clean theater rooms keep us coming back.

I remember when this place opened when I was a kid and the birthday parties held here back in the 2000s.  I moved away for 12 years, came back and this place hasn't changed one bit.  Same paint and carpet...I don't know if this is a good thing or bad thing.  Sure it's a smaller local joint but when I go there, which is usually weekly with my son, there are tons of people.  I don't know how much it costs to run a theater and I'm not complaining but come on, it's time for an update!  With the growing community around it, the new locals talk down about this place and I don't like it. I live in the Heights and prefer this place to the mall because I like the small town feel to it.  The kids who work there are really nice and helpful.  Plus a major reason we prefer here is the bucket o'corn.  Also they have some great discounts and fun gimmicks through the week.  We stumbled into free small popcorn last weekend so we filled our bucket for free.  I'm quite loyal to these guys and I know a lot of others who grew up here are too.  But I got to wonder where the cash is going?  It is fun for my son to ask about the murals on the walls and the stories of the movies they come from...but that's why 4 stars.  Give the kids working there some paint brushes and update a little.  Heck I would even love to help.  I love you guys and wish you the best. Thank you for all the good memories inside your doors and hope for many more.
