The Vernon Hills 8 theater is kind of old school, and hasn't been updated in what looks like a little while (to be fair it's not that bad).  I'm very used to stadium seating, and the works that's available at the AMC South Barrington 30 location.  With that in mind, slightly outdated theater, the picture quality wasn't good.  I told a crew member that the picture was a little blurry.  He was apologetic and followed me back to the theater to check on the picture.  I went back to my seat assuming he'd figure it out, but nothing changed.  To be clear that picture wasn't terrible.  Some shots, face close-ups, looked fine while others, panoramic views of the city, looked quite blurry (we were watching Spider-Man Homecoming).  It wasn't so bad that we left wanting a refund, but it definitely didn't leave us with a great experience and we're certainly not likely to return to that location anytime soon.  Also, the audio quality wasn't really up to par either for most theaters these days.  I have a sound bar surround sound system at home, and I think that would have been slightly better quality.  I wouldn't really recommend this theater, especially considering proximity and how much better the Hawthorn 12 AMC is compared to this one.

Omg, no one is deaf in here, it smells and make some pop corn. No, really this is hurting my ears. Ugh

Movie was awesome but the prices... cmon people.  Is ridiculous

I expected AMC to maintain standards. This theatre was bad. Tiny screens. Not very bad audio but not upto standards. I will definitely not come back here.

Love this place.. Price is comparative less and ton  of parking and good seating..
