I've been to this theater several times over the course of 5 years and last night the experience was enough for my family to never spend a dime at this place again. The movie we went to see had opened this weekend and we got there an hour early to get a good place in line. We ended up right at the front which gave us a front-row of everyone cheating and 'not' standing in line. After informing an employee, the still did nothing and didn't care. Those who cut the entire line (which was on both sides of the theater for the 8:15 showing) got right in and for many, I don't even think they had a ticket. The employees at AMC Lynnhaven probably cost that location thousands of dollars last night and made it very clear that they didn't care. The concessions stand was also a complete mess along with the rest of theater, which was steaming hot, with no effort to fix it. Whomever the manager was last night, they should be fired along with most of the employees. To make matters more of a joke, there was a moon-lighting police officer who just leaned up against a wall staring into his cell-phone. I'm actually completely amazed how badly run this place was and will surely see it go out of business or become one of those $1 movie dumps. For spending $100 for four people to see a movie to include concessions, this experience was a slap in the face. On the positive, it makes the decision easy from this point on in that I will now exclusively go to the Regal Strawbridge Market Place even if I have to wait to get to tickets due to reserve seating; it will be worth watching a movie in class especially if I'm paying that much money for it.

Love this theater. Its very modern, clean up to date. Provides preferred ticketing and service for AMC members. I love this program too. Five dollar movies on Tuesday. Stadium seating for IMAX and 3D movies. Special movie offerings as well. My favorite.

Good stores, great movie theatre experience, decent food court. On weekends, very loud due to young children and rambuncious teens. Not a lot of space in the walkways of the mall. Overall, relatively good place to spend a couple hours and meet up with friends.

While I love AMC my experience here was ruined by the box office attendant Ashleigh. She did not want to address my friend an I even though we were the only ones in line. Even after I walked up to the counter she continued to ignore me until finally I broke the silence and asked if she could please sell me a ticket. She didn’t look up once as I purchased my ticket and any words she uttered were unintelligible since she refused to speak through the microphone. While I love AMC, if I come to see another show and she is at the booth I will simply turn around and find another theatre to go to.

The price hike on food is outrageous and the fact they don’t have 4K projectors but still cost as much as the other local theaters that do is a bit sad. They do have the best concession stand set up and some of the most comfortable seating. But it’s time to upgrade AMC Lynnhaven! It’s 2018!
