This is a review of the new DOLBY CINEMA at AMC.
This is simply the best movie theater going experience. The most comfortable spacious seats. Assigned seating. They have 40 something speakers and the seats vibrate. wow . The image has more contrast than regular theaters and it just looks better. Highly recommend it.

They don't have 3D showings (which I don't mind)

Decent place, a little musty smell inside the theater. Why is that always?.. However much better than many other places. They have a food and beverage selection wider that others too. Don't forget to validate your parking ticket on the machine at front door!

Worst service!! Saw one of the guys working put his bare hand directly into the popcorn machine and stuff handfuls into his mouth. Was rudely told by very unattractive girl with multi colored hair that I was in wrong line but when I looked around we were only people there! But we had to walk around and thru this other walkway to end up where we were originally. Very immature and very rude. Ordered popcorn and guess what? They had no butter!!! What movie theatre doesn't have butter?? I did get refund though - from another rude employee who dealt with me without speaking at all. Wish I could give zero stars!

Horrible experience.
We had two fandango's movie tickets, went to the movie theater forty five minutes in advance, they kept us giving us the run around with regards to the convertion of those tickets into theirs. 
We were very poorly treated by the Manager "Anthony" who denotes a tremendous lack in customer service training as well as the rest of the staff.
To make a long story short, I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO GO with any kind of tickets or offers unless you are paying direct to them, they are extremely incompetent, careless for other customers who are not paying strainght to them.
I will never will come again to this particular AMC location ever again.

Nice movie theater in the heart of South Miami!  It was the movie theater of my choice until recently.  Lately, I have noticed, it is quiet impossible to relax in that theater.  There are lots of people talking and texting on the phones, or talking with others in a loud voice.  I went to see "Beauty and the Beast recently. There was a woman with a couple of kids sitting in front of me who used her phone to video tape the movie  in its entirety.  On several times, I nicely asked her to please put the phone down since the light of the big screen of her phone was reflecting on my eyes, and she completely ignored my request. I had to spend the entire movie with the light of her phone hitting my eyes. I could not move to another seat because the theater was full.  I was going to call the manager but did not do it out of respect for her two kids.  
Also, people place their feet on the back on the chair in front of them, and you feel the feet kicking your back!  
Unfortunately,  it seems there are lots of people with no manners in Miami lately!!! And, it is affecting a time of enjoyment even in the movie theater!!!!
